The Best PSP Go Games - Multiplayer Games

The Best PSP Go Games - Multiplayer Games

Do you have a Sony PSP Go game console and you have great difficulty to find a PSP Go game that you can play with your friends or people online? There are hundreds of PSP Go games to choose from. The best PSP Go games are probably the hardest thing you can find. Here are 4 games that are considered to be the best PSP Go games for multiplayers online by video game critics.

Monster Hunter series

There are two series with great graphics: Monster Hunter United and Monster Hunter Freedom. Both are the best selling video games that has already been sold 4 million copies in Japan alone. These games are notable for the 4 player multiplayer mode that is exactly like the Diablo series which you could upgrade and fight monsters or Wow in it.

Metal Gear Solid PortableOps

Metal Gear Solid is certainly among the best PSP Go games ever! It is an online multiplayer game where one can team-up beat the competition. It has a lot of action features which is a third person shooter.

Medal of Honor 2

Medal of Honor 2 is based in The second world war in first view and much like Call of Duty. You may play as much as 32 players online, and it has a quite populated group. The single player mode is only going to take you about 5 hours to accomplish, but online it is limitless. Probably the greatest first person shooters for the Sony PSP.

Test Drive Unlimited

This game has almost all of the features of its PS2 cousin. It is easy to choose up to sixty motors and the games operates just like a large online racing game. Essentially you are well on an island at which there are lots of active PSP game players. You can drive round the island on your own, or you can call up a player and request a competition at any time. This game is among the best PSP Go games when you really need a Fast break up.

Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet is known as a side-scrolling platformer in which you run, jump, and grab objects so that you can progress. As Sackboy, you need to leap across gaps, stay away from dangerous traps, and hop on the heads of opponents--familiar mechanics for everyone who has ever played a platformer. Little Big Planet's twist is its handmade aesthetic--not only the captivating pictures, however, also inside the "anything moves" level layout.

One moMent you could be chased by an irritated dragon or monster, and subsequently you will be racing a miraculous carpet or launching a hot-Air balloon. There exists a story in each one of the seven worlds, with recurring themes and characters, yet, they can be found just to serve the extravagant ideas. One good thing is, the overall game regularly throws original ideas and scenarios at you, which means you never fully realize what you are going to do next.

It is not just the creative designers that have been given this imagination, either; your pleasure of the game depends on your curiosity about customizing every facet of the planet. You are able to enTirely redesign Sackboy with brand new outfits and accessories--as well as the material he's made out of. The world is usually manipulative; you can place stickers on any actual object, and putting them on specific switch triggers enables you to throw open latest areas and gather more stickers and Sackboy add-ons. Its power of renewing on its own is effective, for the reason that you will find more content while you move on, which experts claim permits you to get back on previous levels and get hold of more stuff.

These above Games meets definitely to your needs of best PSP Go games! Enjoy!

The 25 Best SNES Games of All Time

The 25 Best SNES Games of All Time

A while back, GameDaily created a list of the best SNES games ever created.  They titled this list, "Playing With Power: The 25 Best SNES Games of All Time".  I went through the list to see what SNES games they had on there, what order they were in, and which games didn't make their list.  Obviously, these types of lists will vary largely with the creator of the list.  Here is my comMentary on their list.

At one through five GameDaily had, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past, Chrono Trigger, and Super Castlevania IV.  The first five on the list were pretty solid, although I'm not sure if Super Castlevania IV should be this high up on the list.  I'm also surprised that there isn't a Final Fantasy game in the top five.

At six through ten, there were Super Mario Kart, Street Fighter II Turbo, Final Fantasy III, Contra III: The Alien Wars, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.  This was also a pretty solid grouping.  However, I would like to see FFIII higher up in the overall rankings.  Also, I personally am not a big fan of Super Mario World 2, so not only would I not have it listed this highly, I might not even have it on this list.

Coming in the next batch at eleven through fifteen, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Donkey Kong Country, Super Punch-Out!!, Madden NFL '94, and Actraiser.  This section was more clustered than the first two.  I'm okay with Donkey Kong, Super Punch-Out, and Madden being up here, but I don't think Zombies Ate My Neighbors should be up this high.  And, I've never really figured out where Actraiser fits well in the grand scheme of things.

In sixteen through twenty we have Pilotwings, Mario Paint, Demon's Crest, Super Star Wars, and Batman Returns.  With the exception of Pilotwings, I didn't play any of these games.  I assume I would like Super Star Wars and Batman Returns just because of their characters and storyline.  Mario Paint I could definitely do without and would not put on my personal top twenty-five list.  Demon's Crest... meh.

And last in twenty-one through twenty-five we have Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time, StarFox, Blackthorne, and Prince of Persia.  This group actually contains my favorite game of all time from that period, TMNT IV: Turtles In Time.  I loved this game in the arcade and for the SNES.  I consider it to be one of the best games from that era and it deservedly makes it into the list.

Overall, GameDaily did a great Job at compiling and setting up this list.  It is a difficult thing to do due to the varying opinions that everyone will have about the subject.  I think all twenty-five of these games are pretty good games.  If you want to learn about each game in detail, you should go check out GameDaily's website.  They have great information for old-school and new-school gamers.

NBA 08 Review - Same Game With A Different Name

NBA 08 Review - Same Game With A Different Name

NBA 08 is a PSP, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 exclusive video game. The game makes another return and set up a similar trend from 07 last season in the NBA this is not necessarily a positive view of the fact that NBA 07 is abysmal. The game is by all means a simulation of basketball and not coincidentally is a.

In terms of gameplay, there's plenty to enjoy in this game. This year's iteration of the game you'll earn points that can increase your attributes playprogression system. There are online support 08 in the NBA, but you do not see anyone in line, because it will be busy playing NBA 2K8. The game mode has a full season with the playoffs and mini-games (like target practice). Unfortunately, a franchise mode is missing in action. If a player manages to finish the full season mode, then he or she will receive nothing in return.

I would expect at least be able to see a presentation trophy, but I was wrong. To make thingsWorse, there is no vacancy and projects in this game. At one point I even saw Steve Nash dunk the basketball. When did you ever soaked basketball in the NBA? The game's controls are not bad. You can use the six axis controller to keep the basketball from the defenders during the offensive, and vice versa, allows players to use the six axis controller block shots on defense. It 'was fascinating to Watch a sports video game of the impleMentation of six-axis controller, and I felt like I was with the six-axisController was responsive.

The AI behaves like a group of pampered athletes. We recomMend not endless dubious things together as a double of mediocre players and take bad shots. Why the hell out of AI, a player like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James would open is beyond me. There are movements, you can run (dribbling wing cross), which make the game easier, but the game is not hard. It was quite obviousthat little to no time was spent on the animations and collision detection because anyone can easily score points in this game.

I learned that there is no need to use any exotic plays because you can just teleport through the defense without any resistance. It was almost like the defense was holding up a sign that read "I concede, so let me help you win this game by escorting you to the basket."

The graphics in the game is just as horrible as the gameplay. None of the players look like their real life counterparts. Identifying a player can only be done by reading the name on the back of his uniform. Every intricate detail was phenomenal in NBA 2K8. You could even see the stitching and designs on the uniforms in that game. Regrettably, NBA 08 does not even come close to the attention to detail presented in NBA 2K8. I cannot think of any players that are accurately represented in this game. Maybe this was a glitch, but I saw Kevin Garnett wearing pink socks.
Kevin Garnett is known for wearing white socks. Things like that have made this game deplorable.

Do not even get me started on the audio in this game. The commentators are saying lines as if they are reading from a script; moreover, this is exacerbated by the fact that the commentating is redundant.

Overall, this game is lackluster. There is a updated roster for the 2007 to 2008 NBA season, but that is not enough to overcome the myriad of flaws associated with this game. I have had more fun Watching a San Antonio Spurs game that playing this terrible excuse for a video game. The game has an immensely rudimentary NBA basketball gaming experience and lacks the immersion that made NBA 2K8 incredible. Do not be fooled into thinking that this game is worth playing because Amare Stoudemire is the cover athlete. As spectacular as Amare Stoudemire might be in the NBA, there is nothing he nor the game developers could have done to make this game enjoyable.

final verdict 5 out of 10

10 Children's Books That Should Be on Your Child's Bookcase

10 Children's Books That Should Be on Your Child's Bookcase

One of the alarming trends of the modern world is increasingly declining level of literacy among school children. Given the choice, if you read a good book, Watch TV or play the latest PSP game there is no competition. Reading a good book will be the end of the list. So what can you do to be to convince children that reading is fun?

It must begin at home. Parents must do more to encourage reading. Many years ago when I was a student traininga teacher, I remember saying that the first step is to read the reader in his. How true! Children need to order books from a very young age to be introduced. There are board books available for young children and a pretty good selection of picture books for the preschool child.

But I'm going to concentrate on books for eleMentary school children. What books should every child be exposed? What books should be in the library of every family with school-age children?First let us ask ourselves what the primary purpose of reading is. I believe that first and foremost, reading should be for enjoyMent. The child who reads for the love of it will be the child who reads often. The child who reads often will be the child who reads well. And the child who reads well holds the key to knowledge in his hand.

Keeping the focus on reading with enjoyment, I have compiled a list of the top ten books which every child should read.

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - John Boyne

This thought-provoking book is set during the time of the holocaust when Bruno, the young son of the Commander of Auschwitz, notices that everyone in the next garden is wearing 'striped pyjamas'. He is curious as to why this should be and decides to find out more. He meets a young boy his own age, also wearing 'striped pyjamas' at the fence between Auschwitz and his own garden. He befriends the little boy having no idea of the terrible plight of the people on the other side of the fence. A very moving story with a twist at the end which will give every child a clear understanding of the harsh realities of war.

Boy - Roald Dahl

The autobiography of his childhood is both funny and shocking in true Roald Dahl style. He describes his boyhood in graphic terms with amusing stories of the pranks which he and his peers got up to. The dead mouse in the gobstopper jar and the goat dropping tobacco, to name just two, followed by vivid accounts of the often painful punishments which followed these misdemeanours. A delightful book which will be enjoyed not only by children but adults as well.

The Wickedest Witch in the World - Beverley Nichols

I cannot help but include this book in the list (if you can get it) for sadly it is out of print. But it is perhaps one of the most enjoyable books which I read as a child and which I also always read to the children in my classes, to have them clamouring for more! A tale of the battle of good and evil where good ultimately prevails.

Waiting for Anya - Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo has written several excellent books, but in my opinion this is one of his finest. The story, set in a village in Nazi occupied France, revolves around a young boy, Jo, who stumbles onto the fact that Jewish children are being smuggled out of France across the border into Spain. An old widow and her son-in-law live in constant danger as they are instrumental in saving the lives of countless children. All the while the son-in-law is waiting for his daughter to be returned to him. Waiting for Anya. And while he waits, the danger increases and the net of evil draws ever closer around him. Eventually the enTire village, at great risk to themselves are drawn into the intrigue as they desperately strive to get all the children out of the reach of the Nazis. An exciting but sad story which deals honestly with the grim realities of war.

The Secret Garden - Frances Hodgson Burnett

Mary Lennox from India finds herself alone and orphaned during the cholera epidemic. She is sent to live with her uncle who lives on a large estate in a remote part of Yorkshire. For the first time thin, pale, sickly Mary, without the ever-present ayah at her beck and call, is forced to do things for herself. Bored, she wanders into the garden and discovers the locked garden for which there is no key, the secret garden which no one will talk about. Mary is determined to find a way into the garden and with the help of a robin she does. Constantly out in the fresh Air, she becomes stronger and healthier. But what lies behind the many locked doors of Craven Manor and what are the strange sounds of a child crying that she hears at night? This children's classic is a must read.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - C.S. Lewis

This is the first in the Chronicles of Narnia series in which four children discover a wardrobe which leads them to the imaginary land of Narnia. The land of Narnia has been ruled for too long by the wicked white witch. The children help Aslan, the lion save Narnia from the witch and so end the winter which has reigned for a century. The theme of good versus evil is continued in the following six books with different children visiting Narnia and doing battle against evil. These books have been hugely popular over the years and are a combination of adventure and fantasy which will delight every child.

Carrie's War - Nina Bawden

This is the story of Carrie and her younger brother, Nick who were evacuated to a Welsh mining town during World War 2. The experience is a one of mixed emotions for the two young children. They live with the village grocer Mr Evans and his sister Auntie Lou. Mr Evans is a bully whom the children fear and dislike but Auntie Lou is kind and helps to make the experience more positive for them. They meet other characters from the village who also help to make the experience less daunting. An excellent book which paints a vivid picture of the life of the evacuees during the 2nd World War.

My Family and Other Animals - Gerald Durrell

A hilariously funny book about the adventures of the author when, as a young boy, his family moved to the Greek island of Corfu during the 1930's. His fascination for natural history and his investigations into the habits of all the creatures of the island make for entertaining and informative reading. A book which is read and enjoyed by children and adults alike.

The Borrowers - Mary Norton

The story of a family of little people who live beneath the floorboards, making use of various items which they 'borrow' from the inhabitants of the house. They have a golden rule of never being seen by the 'human beans', whose houses they live in, so what happens when one of them is seen? The reader is drawn into a series of adventures as the borrowers are forced to move from one place to another. A truly delightful story.

Charlotte's Web - E B White

This award-winning novel is about a pig named Wilbur who is destined to be slaughtered but is saved from that fate by a very clever spider named Charlotte who creatively weaves messages about him into her web. The pig's life is spared when these messages persuade the farmer that Wilbur has special qualities.

While this list is by no means exhaustive, it does give some idea of the many and varied books to be enjoyed by young readers, and highlights some of the classic books which have been read and enjoyed by generations of children over the years.
